About

About Me

Hello! I’m Alexandra, a dedicated parent coach here to help you move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling deeply connected.

In today’s fast-paced world, parenting can feel like a constant balancing act. My mission is to provide you with evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed strategies that actually work in the trenches of daily life. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I focus on holistic, child-centered support that honors your family’s unique dynamics.

I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education as well as two decades of experience working with young children and their families as a teacher and parent coach.

Using positive discipline and co-regulation tools, I help you understand the true meaning behind your child’s behavior. Together, we’ll build simple, everyday habits that grow emotional resilience, strengthen your bond, and bring calm back to your home.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. Let’s work together to create an environment where both you and your child can truly thrive.

How It Works

WHAT I DO

I offer services in your home, community, or any setting where your child and you are struggling, as well as remotely on Zoom. I will take information on your concerns as well as the goals you are hoping to achieve, and observe your child in person or via Zoom during the routines they have hard time with. Within 3 days I will send you a report with my observations and recommendations, and we will schedule the second appointment on Zoom to discuss my recommendations. My goal is to make sure that my recommendations are realistic and sustainable for your family and your specific situation. I will provide you with a likely explanation about the reasons your child has hard time with particular routines or directions, and specific recommendations that will help improve the situation. Please note that my recommendations may include ways to teach your child new skills, changing your own understanding and outlook, and/or possibly referral to a developmental specialist. Some other services I offer may include: observing your child at their preschool/childcare after you receive consent from the administration; addressing any concerns that you may have about your child development and help you determine whether to seek professional help and where to look should you decide to do so.

Services I do not provide: any kind of formal assessment or diagnosis, help with sleep issues beyond bedtime/nighttime routines, feeding issues beyond mealtime routines, school problems beyond preschool. Referrals are available for those services.

I have vast experience with typically developing children as well as children with a variety of special needs and neurodiverse conditions, including autism, ADHD, PDA, anxiety, cognitive delay, and various medical conditions. My approach is rooted in the belief that children do well when they can, behavior is communication, and it's up to us to decode that communication and help children be successful. I believe that we need to have high expectations for all children while providing them with the level of support they need at the moment to do the best they can. My practices are child-centered, neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and focused on positive relationships and skill building rather than behavioral compliance.
